As Pittsburgh’s oldest private school, Sewickley Academy occupies 30 acres approximately 12 miles north of the city, with all students pre-kindergarten through grade 12 on a single campus. Students come from more than 50 local school districts, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of Western Pennsylvania. A need-based financial aid program assists nearly 20 percent of students in meeting tuition costs. Exceptional programs, small classes averaging 14 to 16 students, and talented faculty help our students become conscientious leaders, critical thinkers, and responsible members of a global community. In addition to a challenging academic program, students participate fully in a broad spectrum of fine and performing arts opportunities and a rich athletic program with a no-cut policy for every team. Recent athletic successes have included many sectional and league championships.
